Office Policies
Appointments and Scheduling:
We will strive to see you on time! If you come early, you may need to wait until your appointment time to be seen. If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, you may be asked to reschedule at a later date.
Missed appointments may need to be rescheduled 4-6 weeks later, depending on the type of procedure.
Patient Hygiene Responsibility:
Our goal is for healthy teeth and gums when the braces come off. We request that all patients see their general dentist at 6-month intervals for routine cleaning and check-ups. We will monitor hygiene during treatment and advise as necessary. Failure to comply with appropriate dental hygiene may necessitate discontinuation of treatment.
Accidents and Emergencies:
We know that accidents may happen during your treatment. Please call us if any appliances or braces are broken. We need to be sure that there is time in the schedule to make repairs. We will get you in as soon as possible to make you comfortable, however, you may be asked to come for an additional appointment if the damage is extensive.
Billing:
If you have elected a payment option, you will receive monthly statements. Statements are mailed out at the beginning of the month. Payment is due by the end of the month. Finance charges are assessed on past-due accounts.
